Tools for Mrs. Mar's Classes

7th Grade

 

Notebook Assignment --This is the first step in getting organized for the school year. Take a look at this document to learn how Mrs. Mar would like you to organize your a notebook/binder that holds all essential information for managing your assignments and keeping track of your grades.

Notebook Rubric--Your notebook will count as a test grade. Refer to this rubric and evaluate your work once in a while so that you know what might need a little extra work.

Book Report Guidelines--You'll be reading a new book each month and taking an AR quiz on that book. Read over this document and jot down the dates that your AR quiz will be due.

Journal--Your journal will be kept in your English notebook; it will contain thoughts and reflections on questions that Mrs. Mar will pose throughout the quarter. You are expected to thoroughly and thoughtfully complete 7 entries each quarter.

Reading Log--Use this document to track your progress on the books you read. You must be complete a reading log for each book you read before an AR quiz on that book.

8th Grade
