STEM Project (Formerly Science Fair Project)

Instead of working on a mandatory science fair project this year, students in grades 4-8 will have an opportunity to explore a topic in Science, Technololgy, Engineering, or Math (STEM) by completing a project in one of these areas. Students in grades 1-3 will complete a class project.

Read up on the guidelines for this new STEM project in the STEM Project Overview.

Already familiar with the project? Visit our STEM Project page for more details.

October 2011

The 2011 ITBS scores are in! Each family will receive results for their students during Parent/Teacher conferences during the week of October 25. Here is Mr. Abate's overview of how St. Bernard's students did this year overall: 2011 ITBS Results.

November 2011

Although it's difficult to compare St. Bernard's School with public schools, we do have some evidence that we're on the right track academically. We do have room for improvement on being prompt for school, as outlined in r our new Tardy Policy.

Cornerstone: St. Bernard's Parent Portal

St. Bernard's School recently implemented a new school information system called Cornerstone.  In addition to keeping track of administrative data, Cornerstone also contains a module that allows parents to access their students' information, such as grades, homework, attendance, and profile, via the Internet.  Read the Introduction to Cornerstone for Parents for detailed instructions on using the new system, then head to the Cornerstone home page to log in:
